Epanomi Beach

Rent a Car Epanomi Beach, and visit the unique Epanomi and Aggelochori lagoon! The areas are located east of Thessaloniki, within small distance from the center with car hire! They belong to the municipality of Thermaikos and the lagoons of these areas will enchant you!

These two protected areas of Thermaikos Municipality, are integrated into NATURA 2000, since they are unique habitats that are home to over 160 bird species and 2,500 plants. The scenery is fantastic and the rare birds will thrill you!

Among the many protected species of flora and fauna, stands out the protected species “Posidonia Oceanica” a seaweed that extends along the bottom of the lagoon!

The two beaches near Epanomi are Nauagio and Potamos. Both beaches are sandy, with natural beauty and crystal clear water! Potamos beach is organized with many beach bars and restaurants, hotels and camping area. Nauagio beach is ideal for relaxation and you will see a shipwreck on the beach since 1970. The distance from Thessaloniki is about 45 minutes.
